Qualiton/Hungaroton

Annie Fischer made only a handful LPs for her native Hungarian record company Qualiton (which was renamed to Hungaroton in mid 1960's). The most important legacy during this period would be her one and only recording of the Liszt B minor Sonata in early 1950's, which remains one of the finest recording of this piece in the history. Not until late 1970's did Annie return to the Hungaroton studios again to start her greatest recording project: The Complete Beethoven Sonatas. These recordings are also generally considered the best among others, although Annie Fischer did not want to release them while she was alive. An 2-CD album consisted all live bootleg recording made by a fan of Annie contributed some unique recordings to her discography including a very nice Schumann Piano Sonata No.1 in F sharp minor. There are also some unreleased recordings in Hungaroton's archive, which were recorded in early 1950's.
